Those with considerably more powerful hardware (which is to say, an RTX 4090 and i K/Ryzen X3D) can aim for 60fps at 4K resolutions, using Very High Ray Tracing Ultimate settings.
It’s hands-down the best Spider-Man game I’ve ever played, and a strong contender for the best game of a stellar release year. This is all essential given that, from a mechanical standpoint, there’s almost nothing very new here. The 2018 game famously lifted wholesale the fluid combat mechanics of the other big superhero series, Rocksteady’s Arkham trilogy, trading in Batman’s billionaire kit for webbing.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 excels at weaving together a web of poignant and personal tales that everyone can relate to. Customers find the PlayStation 5 console to be a great gaming station with perfect condition and easy setup. Shortly after the first gameplay sequence debuted, devs shared new details on Spider-Man 2’s moment-to-moment gameplay. Better still, players can expect the sequel to feature more than 65 suits based on the comics, films, and original designs. In keeping with Insomniac’s track record, the music behind it all is stellar, with Miles’ and Peter’s respective signature tunes playing depending on who you’re controlling. A highlight, though, is the theme that follows in Kraven’s footsteps, which bears more than a passing resemblance to Howard Shore’s Uruk-hai war march from The Lord of the Rings score. It soundtracks a world that looks stunning, even when played in performance mode at a stable 60fps as I did for most of my playthrough.
