While it’s not the game’s fault, it makes every exclusive PS5 game feel like it lacks DualSense exclusivity. It’s good when you say other critically acclaimed games aren’t doing it well. That’s not to say all games aren’t doing this, as Returnal and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 used the controller capabilities to the max. ASTRO’s PLAYROOM is a platformer video game developed by Team ASOBI and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. Astro’s Playroom has received a surprise update that adds the PS5 Pro and other PlayStation accessories to the game’s gacha machine. Astro’s Playroom launched over four years ago, but developer Team Asobi has since released a few updates for the fan-favorite game.
From the moment you boot up the demo, the game takes you through the DualSense. It takes you through the vibration, adaptive triggers, touchpad, motion sensor and microphone. https://777x.center/ would still be enjoyable if this were the whole demo.
It’s the kind of charming 3D adventure rarely seen outside of Nintendo, one dripping with inventive ideas and heartwarming details. And it might just be the ideal game to sell you on a PlayStation 5. This references Concrete Genie, a 2019 PS4 game developed by Pixelopus.

It is worth noting that the game has been designed to use the advanced vibration capabilities of the DualSense pad to highlight the various things we see on screen (e.g. rain). Most of them involve collectibles and completing specific parts of the story. The game does not force us to go through each location in a specific order. When one hits you, Astro will be reset to the last checkpoint, and Selene’s capsule will open. Remember, once you’re done collecting all the Special Bots, you’ll be able to transfer them to new game Astro Bot. Other Games Like Astro’s Playroom
Horizon has a second reference with the “Ready for the Proving” Trophy, awarded for shooting a Spitter’s shot with the bow and arrow in Raytrace Ruins. Um Jammer Lammy gets a second reference in the “It’s All in the Mind” Trophy, awarded for beating three enemies quickly with Punches. This is a reference to Chop Chop Master Onion, who gives Lammy this piece of advice early in the game. At the very end of the level, turn around to find a Bot wearing a blue cap trying to crack a safe, who retreats when you get close. This is a reference the Sly Cooper franchise that first appeared in 2002 on PS2, developed by Sucker Punch.
Astro’s Playroom Guide: A Full 100% Walkthrough
The controller cames packed with a lot of new technology, making it incredibly unique. The latest PlayStation mascot showed off its capabilities while being a fun little game all on its own. In the PS1 at the start of the level, there’s a memory card with “Ken’s” written on it. This is a reference to Ken Kutaragi, the father of the PlayStation. It was he who developed the SNES sound chip for Nintendo, which led to the Play Station add-on for the system. When this partnership fell through, Kutaragi persevered and developed it into a standalone console, resulting in the original PlayStation.

Familiarize yourself with these, as you’ll need to remember them shortly. Stand at the edge of the level and throw the projectile towards it to reveal the location of the bot. First, activate the first two rope bridges by pulling the wires out of the ground.
